Bueno, aca les dejo un Dj Productor Excelente, no es conocido pero en mi opinión está en el top 40 del mundo (en calidad de la música más allá de las preferencias de generos y demas). Tiene muy buen gusto para elegir los temas, y los de él son increibles. Si creen que exagero, bueno, vallan a su página y formen su propia opinión.

Luego de sus inicios en 1995 no ha parado de destacar en cada una de sus presentaciones, participando de eventos con una concurrencia de + de cien mil personas. About Matt Abbott

Matt has always had a keen interest in music. From his early teens he would spend all of his pocket money on the latest mix tapes and records. "I would take my new records around to my friend's house and mix them on his decks as I couldn't afford any at the time". It wasn't long before Matt had a set of his own technics and started perfecting his skill of mixing.

Inspired by early trance legends such as Tiesto and Paul van Dyk, Matt wanted to start producing his own tracks as well as DJing. "I used to get my hands on any software for making music I could, it didn't matter how basic, I loved it".

Also at this time one of his mix tapes had caught the eye of a resident DJ and promoter for the renowned night Peach. After a few one off sets Matt was given his first residency at only 18 years of age.

From here Matt has gone on to play at other respected nights such as Hotdog, Goodgreef, Passion, Dejavu, Fully Charged, Eat your words and more...

At these clubs he has played alongside international DJ's such as Taucher, Guy Ornadel, John 00 Flemming, Fergie John Kelly and Scott Bond to name but a few. So Matt is no stranger to playing high profile sets.

Matt has continued to improve his song writing, production and engineering techniques to a high standard with support from Gatecrasher resident Nick Riley, GodsKitchen resident Jon O Bir, Armin Van Buuren & Paul Van Dyke to name but a few... His current and future tracks look set to do well.

Matt, along with fellow DJ & producer Chris Chambers has started a new record label in 2005. The Trance imprint "Alter Ego Records" is currently shaping up well, with some hot releases scheduled for 2005/6.

No me gusta mucho Matt Abott , por lo menos sus producciones que siempre tiene con chris chambers son synthes bien de preset de absynth o del vanguard.

Salvo "coloured melody", que safaba... , los demas tracks me hacen acordar a esos temas que uno tiene.. y lo pasa rapido xq son el melodic sin sentido que la melodia no te deja absolutamente nada.

Ojo.. es mi opinion , puede ser que no sea asi , y puedo equivocarme (lo digo para que no se mal interprete) .

Ademas algo que yo veo en un productor o dj , es que tratar de innovar en su sonido.. y este tipo siempre se encasillo en ese melodic medio volador , con tracks de muchas melodias y siempre el mismo bass-drum.

De todas maneras es joven y tiene tiempo para que cambie de opinion... y en 2-3 años yo diga "uyy la pifie zarpado" :D

Biography
Galen Behr, also known as Passiva and Ava Mea, has clearly already earned his place in the trance scene. From the age of 10, Galen has been busy developing him talent in what he entitles, "Energetic Light Music". After playing the violin for roughly one year, he made contact with "trance music", and was instantly committed. Trance caught his attention from the first beat, and it hasn't weakened a bit since.

Galen: "Not a single day went by without trance. Trance is a lifestyle. I breathe trance. Even when I'm not feeling quite well, it's the music which gets me back on track. It has a inevitable positive vibe with a large risk to addiction, in the positive sense of the word of course!"

This influence is clearly reflected when listening to his sets. They're his journey in a universe of warm melodic sound, supported by a distinct beat. By creating an accessible journey through this "trance universe", he tries to share his passion for the music with others.

In the summer of 2002 Galen began producing his own music. After his first remix of Ferry Corsten - Indigo, his adventure truly began. Not content to simply spin the records of others any more, Galen continued to work hard at producing his own music. By the end of 2004 he had already produced tracks which were being hammered by Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, and had his first two singles both make appearances in the Dutch Dance Charts! (Passiva - Clouds Like Heaven and Passiva - Serenity)

2005 symbolizes a period of further development to Galen. After the completion of three successful collaborations, including the track "Halo", which he produced along side Thomas Bronzwaer (Arizona), Galen was convinced he needed a new challenge to work on. He began a new project, "Ava Mea", which he has used to widen his style to a far more progressive form of trance, embracing a warmer and deeper sound. This move was greeted with much enthusiasm and hype from DJ's and clubbers alike, suggesting we will only hear more from this alias.

His first progressive trance production became a success. "Ava Mea - In The End", and featured on compilation albums of Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Andrew Bennett. Instantly he received more and more requests for his remixing skills.

In the (near) future, Galen might surprise us more often. He's still developing his style, though keeping the unique spirit of trance in his mind and his work.

Galen explains: "In my opinion there are already too many records being produced nowadays without a certain ?soul?, and that doesn't do the trance scene any good. The feeling it all started with has been a lost".

With his energetic style, Galen truly hopes to contribute his share to the soul of trance".

Biografía:

Peter Smit is born on the 21th of Febuary in 1989 in a little town called Tholen. He always had a strong affection for dance music, particulary Trance. It all began when he bought a very basic programm based on Fruitytracks.

While he grew older he wanted more and extended him self with some new gear. Much of it he is still using today, producing tracks under guises like; Marninx, Ecco and Complex. He gained support from many well known DJ's and other producers in the scene, to name a few: Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Danjo & Styles, Thrillseekers, Johan Gielen, Robert Nickson and many more.

His first 2 tracks were released on the German label Dark Noize, and with this release (featuring a Martin Roth remix) he set his name in the scene. More will follow in the future and he hopes he can always do what he likes best...... creating music.

hola, bueno aca les dejo un señor q esa bastante q viene pinchando... y para mi es una conexion entre la gente q le gusta el trance y la gente q le gusta el progressive... de quien hablo es PERRY O`NEIL, sus producciones casi siempre son brillantes y con un equilibrio justo... las mismas tienen las caracteristicas de ser un progressive house en estado puro, lo q las deja a punto de ser convertidas a un progretrance sin mas q con simples retoques, espero q lo puedan disfrutar

Perry O' Neil: the next Dutch 'star'?

How do you know if someone is really talented when there are so many ways to define it? When it comes to making music and playing DJ-sets judging 'talent' is personal, like everything that has something to do with creativity. If you are an agent or an A&R manager, it takes a good sense of what may be successful to put faith in a talented person. Armada has found its new star. Meet Dutch DJ/producer Perry O' Neil,

Perry O' Neil is a 26 years old Dutch guy. Spontaneous, cheerful and somewhat curious like many people of his age. He is the rising star at Armada, the record company that aims high with Perry. Armada heard O' Neil's first productions in the beginning of 2003 and signed the first tunes a couple of months later to the record division. David Lewis, partner in Armada, got caught by the unique sound in both Perry's productions and DJ sets so he wanted to work with him as a DJ as well. Although Perry has not released a lot so far, several of his tracks already have been played by DJ's like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Matt Hardwick and Ben Lost.


Perry O' Neil is one of those guys who has been spinning for years and years, always dreaming of the day on which he would stand in front of thousands of people that came to see him in particular. There were times that he hesitated about the sense of continuing to pursuit a dream that seemed to hard to realize, but then he was always reminded by himself of his undying love for dancemusic. Then came the interest of Armada in his productions. The style of Perry O' Neil differed from the most other demo's they receive daily and under guidance of Armada Perry succeeded in delivering improved tracks. No wonder his first release on St. John vs Locust (A State of Trance) was a success. But what is that unique sound Perry O' Neil masters? Perry himself describes it as progressive melodic house. Perry: "It is not really trance the way Ti보o and Armin van Buuren play it. My sound is a mixture of different elements of different styles. I like melodic repeating lines, and you can easily hear the tribal influences in my tracks. I always try to put certain energy in the track, like a kicking bassline or a break that is full of tension which builds up to a climax. During the break I like to see the audience with its eyes closed, lifting off from the dancefloor, only to return when the climax is there. In general you could say I am fond of progressive melodic house."


Perry, modest as he is, knows that there is a long way to go but there is a lot of confidence in himself as well. Perry: "If you really want to achieve something, you have to give everything you have to chase that dream. Now that I have that opportunity to build on my career in music, I will capture it with both hands." A career both in producing and DJ-ing that is, for Perry likes the both of them equally. "In both I can put al my creativity and to judge on the reactions of the crowd and the people on internet I am getting better in what I do each day. However, I will always keep both feet firmly on the ground."


Being down-to-earth is a quality of character Maykel Piron of Armada appreciates in Perry. No wonder he likes to work with him. Maykel: "Perry has a good ear for music and he is straight forward. Therefore we have asked him to do A&R work for our Electronic Elements label. Whether a demo is sent by a famous producer or a talent, Perry gives his honest opinion. We are glad to have him with us." For Perry himself the most important thing in life is to live it in the most joyful way possible. Perry: "That positive approach of life is something you must have if you want to be a good DJ. No one likes a DJ who has obviously no fun in what he is doing." And Perry certainly shows he is having fun when he is behind the decks. An attitude that, combined with his undeniable talent, may very well make him the next Dutch star.
