Van Buuren's Armada Music buys trance community website for a staggering €2.5m

The popularity of the critically acclaimed number one DJ in the world, Armin van Buuren, appears to be boundless these days. With his trance music sales skyrocketing and a calendar booked full of perfomances at the greatest venues in the world for the next 3 years, the four times best global DJ is conquering the globe with blinding speed.

It is no secret that Van Buuren and his Armada Music use the internet to reach as many people as possible, all over the world. Many know about his weekly radio show, "A State of Trance", with millions of listeners every week. It comes as no surprise that the accomplishment of an amazing 500 episodes of his show this year is the foundation for what should be the biggest trance music event ever.

Armada Music is hestitant to give out information about what to expect, but they assure that it will be "mind-blowing" and "revolutionary". As promising as this looks, only time will tell if Van Buuren will succeed in total world domination.

Más de un user de acá era del viejo foro de Trancefix que tanto nos dió!! Luego cambió mucho y se hizo como un "portal". Finalmente terminó siendo de Armada. Igual me pregunto no será mucho 2.500.000 Euros?

El monopolio de Armada compró Vandit, ahora este website y no se qué seguirá. Igual la última oración del comunicado me parece cualquiera (O no entendía la ironía :P).

El magnate Van Buuren no para, no sabía que también había adquirido el sello de PVD. Es un empresario con todas las letras.

Ahhhh bue....como factura y factura Mr. Van Buuren; para los q dicen q Armando está acabado, x lo menos con cosas como estas, lo vamos a tener para laaaargo rato!!

Wow!! Ese fue un gran movimiento de parte de su Empresa, TranceFix.nl fué en su momento muy grosa en cuanto a filesharing y en sus foros de música siempre se encontraban discuciones muy interesantes sobre la movida y la evolución de la música. El precio parece una locura, pero viéndolo desde otro ángulo habría que ver la cifra que arroja el número actual de users y el de visitas al sitio, raro es que no hayan querido adquirir TranceAddict.com que me parece mucho más imponente y no tan ordenado como TF.

Sin generar polémica ni nada, Trancefix a Tranceaddict lo veo como BAliens a Nightclubber. Creo que lo que cuestionas se menciona en esta linea: "The Trancefix.nl community harbors some of the most knowledgable and talented people out there, so this is an opportunity to put that to use."
Estoy muy de acuerdo en ese foro se armaban lindas discuciones. Yo de vez en cuando entro para mirar, pero ni posteo. Me interesaba mucho más cuando era un foro de sharing, inclusive se compartía software, samples, etc. Luego terminó siendo para algunos usuarios lo del sharing (Los que teníamos cierta antiguedad), y hoy ya eso no existe para nadie más que el admin (que seguramente quedó con el database de millones de links!!!).
Recuerdo que un super moderador se separó e hizo puretrancers.com pero terminó cerrando también por razones obvias! Y ahora existe un foro medio escondido y clandestino donde se sharea lo más pete del trance y estan los antiguos users de TF.
