For more than 15 years, UK?s biggest radio station BBC Radio 1 has invited the world?s greatest DJ?s to show off their skills and talent in the renowned Essential Mix. On Friday December 5th, the honour of mixing the Essential goes to no one less than Markus Schulz!
Markus is delighted with the news. ?It?s a wonderful honour to be asked. For many fans around the world, they get their first real exposure to dance music through the reputation of the Essential Mix. After visiting the Radio 1 studio a few weeks ago to do the show with Judge Jules, you could feel a special atmosphere just by looking at pictures of the DJs who have been there and featured heavily on the EM over the years. It makes me feel nervous, but very excited at the same time.?

Markus? Essential Mix will be filled with some very exciting stuff, amongst some new Armada bangers, the mix will also include some exclusive remixes and suprises. Markus: ?I hope I can be as creative as possible and provide something that the listeners are going to be talking about for some time to come.?
